Furie

Quilla (Archer)

As Furie entered the world, her mother slowly slipped out of it. Born to a dead mother, Furie was shunned from her Norse tribe. The tribe decided to let one of the passing traders take her, not caring what would happen to her.

She was soon taken to Rome and sold as a child slave to a Gladiator trainer. Raised by the Gladiators, Furie learned to master just about every weapon used in the Coliseum. When she was finally old enough to fight, she was given the name Furie for she punished all who stepped foot in the arena.

At the age of 17, Furie was a well-known female Gladiator and had many fans who came only to see her. That was the year when everything would change. A captured Amazon named Calypso had been placed in Furie's cell. The stories Calypso told captured Furie's heart more than the roar of the cheers in the Coliseum.

At a daring escape, Furie killed her owner and helped Calypso once again see her homeland. They traveled through many lands, following Calypso's memory. By the time they arrived Furie and Calypso's friendship had become deeply rooted. Calypso introduced Furie to the tribe as her soul sister, so powerful was this bond.

Furie lived there many years, but grew tired of staying in the same village. She took up traveling, moving from one Amazon tribe to another, teaching her weaponry skills to young Amazons. She earned a reputation as a trader, bringing many new items and news to each tribe she visited.

Furie has sandy blonde hair that spirals down her face. Her eyes are deep blue in an ivory-skinned face. Her body still bears the scars of her Gladiator days, and she wears her slavery tattoo as proudly as the tattoos of her tribe. Her totem is the cheetah.
