Swift Blazer

Swift Blazer lived in a small town along the Black Sea. Her village was visited by a young Amazon named Celosia, who came to purchase supplies for her tribe who were on a long journey. Swift Blazer was impressed with the bearing and attitude of the woman, who was only slightly older than herself. She helped guide Celosia through the village and smoothed the way with the merchants.

In return, Celosia asked Swift Blazer to visit them when, and if, she could. The only problem was that Celosia had no idea where the tribe would end up. But neither woman would let this obstacle prevent them from a visit in the future.

Swift Blazer could not get the woman out of her memory. She began training in the bow and staff when she could, privately. She was found out by her parents and forbidden either weapon. Upset that she could no longer emulate the Amazon she admired, Swift Blazer left home determined to find Celosia's tribe.

She spent months wandering around the continent, trying to find Themiscyra. Then, just as she’d finally begun to hear stories of the Amazons, a slaver caught her.

It had taken a couple of months for her to escape her captors, but she managed it. Of course, she’d headed in the wrong direction and wandered for several days until she met a "kindly" old man. He sent her in yet another wrong direction. 

Finally she happened upon Themiscyra, but she was followed by the slave traders who were bent on capturing Amazons.

Swift Blazer was put under Valkyra's tutelage. She has red hair, stands about 5'7" and carries a heavily carved staff, which she created herself.
