Yakut

Latra of Theran Amazons (disputed) (Queen of Thera)

Tasida Archila Kuk'Tai (Former Head Shamaness)

Primus Kuk'Tai (First Shamaness of Themiscyra)

Named after the young Shamaness that was trained by Xena, Yakut stands at 5'6" and has long dark hair with deep green eyes that can see straight through anyone’s soul. Being a Shamaness, she doesn't fight as much as her sisters but journeys far into the realms where spirits dwell.

She came to the tribe young and unlearned and then left on a long spiritual journey, as she felt unprepared to serve the Amazons. After an absence of two winters traveling from realm to realm and living on her own, Yakut has been reborn with a new determination to serve the Amazon Nation.

Her spiritual powers have grown and so has her wisdom, as she is now entirely loyal to her tribe.

Although she carries a staff around with her, she rarely uses it to fight. It is primarily used for ceremonies and rituals and it is sacred to her. She received it from her adoptive mother who carved it from the branches of the sacred tree at the golden navel of the earth.

Yakut discovered remains of her tribe, the Theran Amazons, on the island of Thera close to Greece. She has returned to them as their Latra, Queen, and teaches them the ways of the Kuk'Tai. She remains a source of strength for Themiscyra.

Two years after she left, Yakut has returned once more to Themiscyra, having fled from Thera. She's now given birth to Anastasia, a child who is bound to inherit her mother's powers and her role as a Guardian.

Although Yakut was still the Latra of her tribe in Thera, both her and Anastasia are being hunted by them.
