Zia

Roman Tae'Nah Latra (Roman Amazon Queen)

Themiscyra Liaison Officer to the Roman Empire

Zia is the daughter of a Roman Amazon and Julius Caesar's most trusted guard and friend (before Brutus). Her parents were killed in the Roman arena. Caesar commanded they fight in the arena after their affair and betrayal were discovered. It's an act of betrayal for Rome for any Roman to associate with an Amazon. Punishment is death to both, fighting against unbeatable warriors in the arena.

Zia escaped Caesar's wrath by secretly slipping past Roman guards and carefully leaving ground. Octavius, Zia's lover and Caesar's nephew, helped her get out of Rome. After roaming among territories as a preteen, she finally found Themiscyra. It became her new home among the Amazons.

Now eighteen, she is a Sister of the Themiscyra tribe. She believes that it is the will of her mother and vows to restore Rome to peace. She has a young adopted son name Anthonius, who lives with Octavius in the military. Zia has the appearance of a strong-headed teenager, but she has developed a special connection with many Sisters of her tribe, including Samsara.

Zia is 5'7", with long dark brown hair that turns red in the sun. Her eyes are a glowing green, and her skin is sun kissed tanned. She has a tattoo of a snake on her ankle, which she designed herself growing up. On her left shoulder is a second tattoo- a dolphin, her totem animal. Zia wears knee length boots with a short leather skirt and a low-neck top (with protected armor if in battle). She carries a sword and daggers which all have aquamarine and jade stones.

Zia tends to have a hot temper, but she's always ready to help a Sister in need. She enjoys fighting and creating special relationships among the members of her tribe. Zia is happy to finally find a place to call home. Although many Roman tribes requested her membership, she insists on keeping Themiscyra her place to thrive as an Amazon forever.

"Never underestimate the mind of a teen."
